Uehonmachi!
YAY! Brett moved to a cooler part of town! I am now settled into my new apartment in Uehonmachi, a place with busier streets, taller buildings, and some very classy restaurants. Another bonus, it's much closer to the job. My bedroom has tatami mats, way cool. The transition to a Japanese citizen is almost complete!
It's starting to get warmer here. I loooove the heat so much. Except when wearing dress clothes, which is like 5 days out of the week. Such is life with an actual job. Tomorrow I search for a new toilet seat, some curtains, and actual laundry detergent. I was told earlier by a Japanese friend that the stuff I had previously bought was in fact a fabric softener. So for two months I have been washing my clothes a little softer each time. Snuggle fresh!! Everybody dance!
Okay it's late, I'm still hungover from my weekend Izakaya extravaganza, and therefore I actually feel tired!
